Cross-cultural coaching

Cross-cultural coaching helps individuals and teams create an environment which builds on – rather than suppresses – diverse perspectives, expectations, beliefs and behaviours, which may stem from diverse cultural values.

Becoming aware of one’s own cultural conditioning, developing capacity to uncover positive motivators behind ‘insensible’ behaviours, and creating a supportive work environment based on mutual understanding and respect, is a step-by-step process that can be facilitated by a supportive coach, who helps clarify objectives, prepare for upcoming challenges, review progress and adopt/adapt solutions to best meet the needs of all the stakeholders.

Cross-cultural coaching can be performed in one-on-one sessions (i. e. an expat newcomer to Slovenia, leader of a multicultural team, preparation for an expat assignment abroad), or as a series of team coaching sessions with the entire multicultural team.
