Communication and conflict resolution

Communication and conflict resolution

Conflict is often perceived as a win-lose battle that ends in less cohesion and more frustration in the team. What if we were able to deconstruct this outdated paradigm, and embrace conflict as an opportunity to authentically express the needs and values of everyone involved, and then create solutions based on this shared understanding? Be it in corporate, family or any other organisational setting, conflict is a given – and it's entirely up to us whether we come through conflict with less or more motivation to collaborate in future endeavours. Some of the topics that our conflict resolution workshops cover:

  • Assertive communication – overcoming aggressivity and passivity in interactions
  • Conflict as an opportunity to rebuild dignity, relationship and collaboration
  • Principles of constructive conflict resolution
  • From disconnecting to connecting language
  • The magical power of being listened to
  • Expressing disagreement, dissatisfaction and 'no' in a connecting way
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Effective communication in challenging situations
